How to Make Solid Shampoo

YOU WILL NEED:

• 500G Crystal Solid Shampoo Melt and Pour base
• 15G Macadamia nut oil
• 50G Desiccated coconut
• Coconut and vanilla fragrance oil
• Silicone mould
• Dried blue cornflowers (for decoration)
• Alcohol spray

Chop your Solid Shampoo base up into chunks and place in a microwavable container. Microwave on high for two minutes, then in 30 second blasts until melted throughout.

STEP 2

Add your macadamia nut oil and mix.

STEP 3

Add fragrance oil and desiccated coconut. Mix well.

STEP 4

Ensure the melted base is at around 55-60°C. Spray the mould you wish to use with alcohol spray.

STEP 5

Pour the base into the mould in equal amounts, then spray the surface of the soap with alcohol spray.

STEP 6

Sprinkle the blue cornflowers on the surface of the sprayed soap. Spray once more with the alcohol spray, then let cool for 12 hours or overnight.

STEP 7

Unmould and enjoy!
