In this recipe our #StephensonSoapClub winner walks us through her winning Crystal Melt & Pour recipe ‘Hello Spring!’. Follow along using simple ingredients and your favourite Stephenson Soap Base.

Soap Bases used: Crystal WST and Crystal ST
**Project Description:**A layered melt and pour soap with rosettes makes for a beautiful bar of soap for Mother’s Day, showers or any time!
Step One
Cut 1 inch squares of equal amounts of Crystal ST Clear and Crystal WST White soap base (enough to fill your mould).
Step Two
Using black colouring or activated charcoal, colour clear soap black. Alternate layers of black and white base to make stripes

Step Three
Let cool, slice into bars. Meanwhile, using a rosette mould, make different sizes and shades of rosettes.
Step Four
Melt a small amount of clear base. Lay bar flat, score spot where rosettes will go. Spray rubbing alcohol. Gently pour clear base. Carefully arrange rosettes as desired, and pour additional clear base around rosettes to support them and adhere to bar.
